I originally set up my iPhone on my Windows computer. I am considering migrating everything over to my PowerMac after my Windows computer's CPU crashed and burned. Are there any issues I need to know before trying to sync my iPhone to iTunes on my Mac? Will I lose all of my contacts? Luckily I don't have many songs or videos on my iPhone.

I appreciate any advice you might be able to give me or links to sites that have this info. Searches I have done hasn't really turned up anything yet.

Nope, your contacts will be there still...as well as your texts, ect. Everything except your music videos! I tried this on my PC after using a Mac and it worked fine! I hope all goes well.

I did the same thing just last week... My contacts were in outlook (obviously), photos on C: (windows), etc... sync to iphone.. all fine.

Then when I moved to Mac, the sync was not an issue...

BUT some words of caution:

MAKE SURE to do a one way sync first (from iphone -> mac addressbok, etc...)

Sometimes addressbook does not sync well with macaddressbook, but 99% is good. (at least for me)
