I have recently purchased a new computer and i am wondering if there is a way to move my iphone to the new computer without having to restore the phone and lose all the data (contacts, apps, etc). any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe there is. I got a MacBook yesterday and just had to 'erase and sync' the iPhone to that laptop and I looked around online before hand but couldn't find a way to move it to the new computer without doing that.

what about moving the backup folder to the new computer? the backup is literally everything on the phone correct? this is going from XP > vista, so i hope theres no issue with that.

i dont own a mac, so using senuti is impossible :) .
