Guys, I've finally done something REALLY stupid... I decided to give OS 9 a try, just to see what it was like and even went as far as to set up my .Mac email account in Outlook Express! However, little did I know that unlike Mail, OE doesn't keep the mail on the server, it downloads it all to disk.

Having decided to stick with panther (well, duh!) I went to Mail and found all my messages gone!

I'm struggling to understand the OE help which is really bad, imho, but it seems I can't move mail back to the server...

Can I export it in any way?

Just import your messages from Outlook Express back into Mail.

Sorry, i've never done this before - how do I do this? From Mail or OE?

Hob

edit - I realise the import in Mail is really good, but the problem is if i select Outlook, it loads up the 'Classic' version, which is the same program, but not... correct! it's loaded in classic, but not in OS 9 - if you know what I mean, it doesn't have any of my emails in! How can I get access to them from OS X?
