iPad Pro Moving pdf files to PowerPoint

I’m having a difficult figuring this out. I have a iPad Pro 12.9 2nd gen. Installed is Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft PowerPoint with subscription. I’m building a ppt presentation and i have two pdf files I want to place in the presentation. Each file will have its own slide. I do not have a desktop or laptop so only working with iPad. Does anyone know how to get those PDFs into ppt. I tried copy and paste but could not get PDFs to copy.

Try downloading documents. It’s a file manager app of sorts. Transfer your pdf file to documents, then with documents and PowerPoint open in side by side mode, drag the file from documents into PowerPoint.

I will verify that it works later when I get home.

Update - tried it and it doesn't seem to work. Maybe the issue is that pdfs can't be inserted into powerpoint slides in iOS?

Good news, I figured out how to do it. I’m using Keynote. I opened my presentation in Keynote (edit), added new slide then tapped the + sign at top right of screen and the drop down menu gives me options for creating new slide. One of the options is “insert from”, i tap on that and it takes me to Documents where i select my pdf file. It then places it in the slide. One problem I had was I could not select the second pdf to create another slide. I solved this by opening pdf in Adobe and taking a screen shot of my second pdf. I cropped the screenshot to where i needed it and saved. Went back to Keynote drop down menu and selected “Photo or Video”, found my screenshot, selected it and Voila it’s in my next slide. I know this is a lot of back and forth (I have a lot of time on my hands) but I got what I want. I also found out today that I can remotely run Keynote presentations from Keynote on my watch (Series 3) thru the phone to my iPad. It’s been a busy morning,think I’ll take a nap.

I also discovered that Powerpoints created in Keynote can be sent to PowerPoint by opening presentation, tapping on the 3 horizontal dots at top right corner of screen, then select “export” from the drop down menu and the option to send to Microsoft PowerPoint app appears on the list. Tap it and voila, done. This may be old news to most but it is new to me. I’ve had my 2nd gen iPad Pro for 2 years now and still find new things it can do. Gotta love it!!!
