Hello everybody! I am a new iPhone user, I have just moved from Samsung S21 Ultra to iPhone 13 Pro.

I am having troubles to move all my pictures and videos. I have them in folders on my PC with Windows 10. They are about 40 GB of photos separated in different folders.

I have tried with iTunes but it just limits me to several applications and it just does not allow me to copy the files to the iPhone.

Also I have made iCloud subscription and uploaded them to the cloud in 2 different ways. First I discovered I can make folders when I open iPhotos in the browser but during the upload process everything freezes and stops in the middle of the upload. Then I installed the PC application of iCloud and iPhotos and I copy the photos to their folder but they are uploading in totally mixed up order and are not in folders so I have to spend hours sorting them out to designated folders.

So, I need to upload my photos and videos to the iPhone or the iCloud so that I keep them in their folders and do not have to sort them manually. I would be very thankful for any smart bright ideas how to do it. Thank you very much!

Write this Google search "import android photos to iPhone". You will immediately get some very good instructions.

But start with getting to know how Apple Photos actually works. Because Apple Photos is a database solution with a ton of features for organizing in smart ways. So your current folder sorting is probably much less useful than what you can do with Apple Photos. So don't start to replicate your old folder structure. It might be totally unnecessary once you learn how to use Apple Photos.

But. You seem to have a combination of an iPhone and a Windows PC. And no Mac. This complicates things for you in daily life. So make absolutely sure that you really want to put all your existing photos into iCloud. Also be aware that importing 55 GB of photos will take days/nights/weeks as it is done when devices are idle (and on power). Don't interrrupt the process. Because it also takes ages to stop and undo such a process.

Thank you for your reply. Indeed, I did exactly google "how to import android photos to iPhone" but the results were numerous third party applications which I am not sure that are safe. That is why I was looking for an Apple approved method to do it.

I realized that I do not understand how the iCloud works or even my way of thinking to designate photos to folders, maybe it is just not "iPhone way of thinking" Maybe I have Android/ Windows view for file organization.

I will search more information on how the iCloud works and maybe it will start to work for me because at the moment it looks to me like a pile of photos which are not sorted or filtered by any sign, chronologically or any other.
One day I plan to switch to Mac (if I manage to get along with the iPhone) but for the moment I have to make things work with my current PC.
