Dear forum members!

PROBLEM: Moving the cursor and selecting text using Logitech Bluetooth keyboard K811 stopped working correctly under Mac OS 10.10.5 some time after the upgrade from Mac OS 10.10.4 (I do realize this may not be the cause of my troubles).

Examples of the current behaviour using MS Word for Mac 2011 (latest update 14.5.4 installed):

LEFT ARROW – cursor moves to the beginning of the current line

RIGHT ARROW – cursor moves to the end of the current line

UP ARROW - cursor moves up about a dozen of lines

DOWN ARROW- cursor moves down about a dozen of lines

SHIFT + LEFT ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the beginning of the current line

SHIFT + RIGHT ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the end of the current line

SHIFT + DOWN ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the end of the current page

SHIFT + UP ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the beginning of the current page

But wait, it gets even better in Pages (version 5.5.3):

ARROW keys have no effect at all!

SHIFT + LEFT ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the beginning of the current page

SHIFT + RIGHT ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the end of the current page

SHIFT + DOWN ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the end of the current page

SHIFT + UP ARROW – text selected from the cursor position to the beginning of the current page

I am not sure I am posting at the right place, but I have no idea where else to go to: Logitech support never got back to me…

I am not a Mac guru… Please, please help!

How old are the batteries in the keyboard?

Have you unpaired and re-paired the bluetooth keyboard with your Mac?(Go to System Preferences>Bluetooth, find your device listing and click unpair, then follow your keyboards instructions to place it into discovery mode and re-pair it)

Does this issue occur with another keyboard(USB wired keyboard preferred)?

Thank you very kindly Kissmyne: worked like a charm!
