Hi all, i have a late 2015 27 inch iMac , about 2 years ago i took the plunge and opened it up to install 2x samsung evo 4tb s.s.d, these had to go into a caddy and configured for raid 0, in disk utility they are still seen as rotational drives which does not concern me too much, i also have time machine backing up the computer, my question(s) is if i move to big sur will my raid 0 config: be supported? will the file system change to a.p.f.s., will time machine still back up? i have read on other sites differing views on this, any advice would be appreciated , thanks,

hi jack , thanks , im actually wondering if it might be "easier" to buy a 8tb ssd now they are a "bit " cheaper, i would have to open the iMac again obviously ! but i managed it before , then although it would still have to go into the caddy i wouldn't have to use a raid config: if i do that would time machine still back up my now a.p.f.s. ?? its a bit remiss of apple to remove this support, but lets not get into that!, cheers
