I am moving to the UK for 1 year. I currently have an iphone 3g. Can I unlock my iphone and bring it to the UK with me? What service is the best to get in the UK so that I can continue to use internet and email?

Try the main carrier, o2. if your old enough get yourself a 30 day contract with "simplicity" it's the easist way - pick your own plan etc.

Then jailbrake your phone in your home land, then unlock put that new o2 sim into that shiny new iphone.

Or just buy a 3GS over here.

Thanks. I was looking at the O2 website and saw that with simplicity plans you can add one bolt on. Is "Unlimited Web Bolt On" what I need to use internet on my iphone? What is "Unlimited WiFi" for?

Yes, you want the unlimited web bolt on, that's for the 3G and Edge data use.

The wi-fi bolt on gives you access to wi-fi in public places like McDonnalds and in some shopping centres and pubs.
