MP 1,1-5,1 MP 1.1 El Capitan issue.

hi everyone,

i recently bought a cMP 1.1
standard config.

i bought an xfx hd 5770 and flashed it with a Mac Rom.

in lion the hd 5770 works really sluggish and slow.

with el capitan i can't even boot, it keeps hanging on the apple logo and sometime's restart's, when i boot in safe mode then i can boot up to el capitan.

someone can point me in the right direction?

Mac pro 1.1 flashed to 2.1
2 x dual core 2,66 ghz
ati 2600x original GPU
xfx hd 5770 works weird
16GB Ram

the card works perfectly in windows 10 so i doubt there is an issue with the xfx hd 5770.

start with cmd-v and take a photo of the last messages before restarting

XFX GPUs are known to be problematic on Macs. Some work OK, but many do not (they often deviate from AMD's reference design). If you have another Mac-compatible GPU to test with, I'd try that first.

with the original ati 2600X everything works perfectly so it's the XFX brand that's causing the issue?

i mostly am using it in bootcamp windows 10 so not a big issue.

but one last question.

is is possible to put any GPU in the mac pro only using it in bootcamp? no mac os .
