After a drop in ambient temperature there were problems restarting. The solution for that has been to not allow the disk to sleep. Now, it's randomly shutting off / going into sleep. Suddenly, it's now happened several times today.

Running High Sierra. Console now seems quite different from the last time I used it.
WTF can I do to confirm it's the power supply going bad?

Disk sleep equals shutdown. I stopped Time machine backups and f.lux to no avail. I do still use Cookie and a VPN but those are the only known apps running when this happens - besides Safari. And, while maybe it's due to an increase power demand using Safari... it seems too random for that....

Thanks....

Dramatically worse today so ordered a refurbished one for $70.00 off ebay. Fingers crossed.
Had hoped to be able to put the money toward a newer model but... that's not much toward say a 2010 considering. And, otherwise I'm doing fine... so fingers crossed.
