HI all,

I've got a 580X MPX module in my MP 7,1. Since the update to 11.3 Photoshop is no longer recognising the GPU under Preferences > Performance. Therefore PS is now running slowly.

Is this an Apple issue with drivers for the 580X or is it a PS issue do you think?
Any ideas for a workaround?

It's an Adobe thing likely. There's been issues with the latest Photoshop 22.3.1 not recognising GPU (saw that on Photoshop forums) but didn't know it related to Macs, usually the reports came from PC users.

I'm running OS X 11.3, Photoshop 22.2.0 (since 22.3.1 has other bugs I don't want to deal with) on a 7,1 with 580X and everything works fine. If resetting Photoshop prefs doesn't help I suggest rolling back to Ps 22.2 until Adobe fixes it.

Thanks. I might look at rolling back a version.

It is recognizing my w5700x GPU in Photoshop 22.3.1 in Catalina. I imagine it is an Adobe issue as well.
