Is there a program that will convert .asf files and the such to Mp3 format, i can only find PC compatible programs with this capabilities.

Try EasyWMA -- it's supposed to be Tiger compatible and capable of converting WMA, ASF and one or two other formats to MP3/4 files....

I'm not sure, but aren't .asf files only pointers to streams?
