Hello everyone,
I have searched for the answer and found help, but my situation is very unique.
I am combining 6 m4v files into a single one. I have attempted this with mpeg streamclip, quicktime and a few others.
The problem is I can usually get about 3 combined with a total of 10 hours, when in fact all 6 together should be something like 24 hours.
By themselves, they are playable both in itunes and on my ATV. They're simply straight dvd rips transcoded by handbrake using the the apple tv 2 preset.
Each file is about 4gb each, total about 24gb. They are the 6 appendices of LotR, and I want one single large file. I used Dvision to strip the correct vobs and make single files of each part, but now I want one long, endless appendice.
Any suggestions? I really don't want to convert them all into prores to combine them all in FCP, so much time involved for that.
