Hi all,

I'm new to iPod's. Got my 1st one today. I'd like to put some movies on there. Today I put on a movie from YouTube and I edited it slightly to remove adverts in iMovie and it saved as a .m4v file and it was ok on the iPod.

Anyway, I saved a movie I wanted and made sure it saved as a .mp4 file as I knew it was supported. Tried dragging it inside the iPod's Movies folder, but I get an error that it cannot be transferred as my iPod is not able to play it or something similar to that.

Please could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

OH and forgot to mention I used Handbrake, I got a link off someone else that uses it (a friend) and followed the instructions on the Handbrake website. Anything I can do to fix this file as it took a while to rip the DVD and I don't want to do that all over again :(

hey lisa glad u figured this out but would u mind letting everyone else know u did it? please:D
