What does the Device setting on mp4tools do? I am trying to remux MKVs for my atv3 and also want flexibility and compatibility in the future even if not using an ATV. Should I select general or atv3?

Do you have full-speed Blu-ray rips, or, do they already have reduced bitrates (around 10 Mbps) while still at 1080p? If the former, you may want to convert (reduce bitrate); if the latter, just go with the default remuxing. In the latter case, leave it on "General".
