youch. my 100gb hard-drive was full in under an hour so I thought why not get a portable external. I currently have a 160gb seagate that is usb 2 only and this thing is a joke, and is going back to best-buy asap.

I found that OWC offers a 200GB drive, however its only 4200RPM and that's dangerously slow.

So i'm curious to see if anyone else out there is making larger drives for the MBP's that are 7200rpm? I could handle 5400 but would rather stick with 7200.

thanks for the help.

Currently the largest 7200 rpm laptop drive is 100 GB, but in, I believe, about six months, companies are going to be able to release 200 GB 7200 rpm laptop drives. Right now, you can get a 160 GB drive at 5400 rpm, but not at 7200 rpm.
