MY 15"MPB is functioning flawlessly after several kernal panics that I posted about last week. I live in Georgia...about 2 hrs from the Apple Store in Atlanta. The apple support on the phone suggest I contact a certified apple tech here in town or bring to Apple store. BEst thing i ever did was to take to service tech. We recreated kernel panics, he ruled out other probems and his dianosis was a new logic board. I left it with him (panic starting at this time!) This was Friday at 4:45. My mbp was sent to apple, repaired, and back in my hand Wed morning at 10 am. AMAZING. He said that when he send repairs in, Apple assumes he has taken all the necessary steps to rule out other options so they jump on it, analyze and fix problem, and ship right back. So I guess if you have a service tech certified through Apple..USE THEM! Just wanted to share my story!:D
I may break after I post this but for right now...purring like a kitty!
