MPEG-4 video licensing issues.

Does anyone have any information on when the MPEG-LA group is going to come out with a new licensing scheme?

I'm chomping at the bit to get the next Quicktime and these guys are really starting to irk me. The first licensing scheme they drafted was just rediculous.

They've kept pretty quiet since the initial outpouring of email from everyone.
