Mr. Clean Magic Erasers?

Someone told me once that those mr clean erasers will help remove discoloration from an iBook? Is this true?

Yes - be careful around the trackpad, though - use just a tiny bit of water.

And if too much water gets on the trackpad what will happen?

just be careful about potentially getting water INSIDE the case. water and electronics do not mix very well...

You really don't use that much water. Soak the Magic eraser in water and then squeeze out as much as possible. It should barely be damp.
