Now seeing as the SDK is out, and there is already a bing app on the app store, so its not like Microsoft gets blocked on there. Would it not be logical to think they'll make an app for this to compete with iWork?

Discuss.

I think they'll wait and see how successful the device will be. They definitely have the resources.

How about Sun and OpenOffice?

iWork should do the job fine.

I actually prefer it over Office.

For normal correspondence and light documents iWork is fine. It still gags pretty badly on a large document. I do a lot of work on functional and technical design documents created in Word and every time I open them up in iWork, it's a complete mess.
