Ok, so I just want to know what would be faster?

Running MS Office 2004 in OSX/Rosetta since it is a PPC only program

OR

Running MS Office 2003 in Windows XP SP2 Virtualized with Parrallels or VM Ware Fusion?

I ask because I deal alot with Excel, and calculations... and just am wondering.

Thanks

PS iWork 07/08 whatever needs to have a very good spreadsheet program :apple: :D

Try using NeoOffice J. But to answer your question, it would probably be faster in virtualization, but you could also try using Crossover, they say MS Office works with that, and it'd be native speed.

Well the visualisation aspect does take a lot out of a system, but then again so does rosetta. I think, from my expereince, Rosetta gets it.

I tired using Office 2007 in Crossover but it wasn't supported.

I'm pretty sure it was before Office 2007 that was supported.

I love NeoOffice, but don't play around with the Excel functions...try it out before buying anything, but if its not for you, have a look at Tables :)
