I read some time ago that MS had updated their apps to support trackpad, but I haven’t seen it updated on my iPad. Has anyone received the update?

You're on the latest version, right?
My version was updated 3 days ago. Still no trackpad support. Here is my version history. No mention of trackpad support.

I am on 2.43 as well and whilst the Home Screen does not look like the example on the Tech Community forum, I am able to select text and commands using the Trackpad.

Trackpad (ipad magic keyboard) working great for me on version 2.43. I even got a "What's New in XXXX" popup when I open the program that mentions use of pointing devices.

On 2.43 as well. Now supports right click for contextual menu, hold shift + tap to multi select, also the pointer shape shifting to menu icon too now.

I remembered on the older version already supports pointer via trackpad.

I read somewhere it was gradually getting rolled out, as still waiting for it also.

I never got that pop up.

Perhaps trackpad support does not depend on software version. It is available in 2.43, but just not enabled for some people — the slow rollout. It is frustrating to wait. I can see why they might want to test it on a few people first, but after that, why not just make it available to everybody?

Yes, MS office has supported trackpad from the start, but was not optimized for it. That is the new version I’m waiting for.
