MS Office Home and Student 2019 (NOT 365 version) on M1?

Does anyone have any info if MS Office Home and Student 2019 can be installed on the new iMac M1's? This would be for the standard boxed version and not the 365 subscription version.

EDIT: I have seen reports that it is optimized for M1's for the 365 version but what about the standard non-sub version?

The Office 365 and Office 2019 apps are exactly the same. It's just the licensing that unlocks features for Office 365 subscribers. 2019 will work and install just fine on Apple Silicon Macs. Just make sure you update it to the latest version to be sure you're using the native apps.
