Ms Teams had camera on without the LED indicator

I was just on a teams call and I was told my camera was ON which I wasn't aware because the green LED at the top of screen wasn't ON
I quickly started facetime to see if the LED is working and yeah the LED was triggered on fine.
WTH? did this happen to anyone? I guess no more trusting the LED

Macbook Pro M1, os version 13.1
update: Sorry, this was MS teams not zoom. But problem is the same

Ok I know what happened. Somehow in the settings of Teams, my iphone was used as an external camera. So I guess everything is ok and it was a user's error

I guess no more trusting the LED
