Dear Friends, my MS Word app does not open after I pressed Shut Down option while Word was opened.

It starts but immediately gives an Error (see below)

Could you plz help me to solve this annoying issue? I cannot find the files for reinstallation thus I am trying to solve it without reinstallation (word 2016). I am not sure If can redownload it as I bought it not from MS.

Yeah, Microsoft does make it difficult to find their installers for some reason, anyway I download from this link as its a bit easier. Get the current 16.22.19021100 64-bit from here:

https://macadmins.software/

Addendum: Oh yes I forgot, its also in the Mac App store now if thats easier.

I do not have subscription - I bought the soft via some FB advert. Now, Excel stopped working!

OMG

Do you have any suggestions??

Dodgy copy? Can't help you with that on these forums mate. The only thing you can do there is find the original install .dmg from wherever you obtained it.

I do not know what "dodgy" means, but it got updates and worked just fine. I contacted MS when I bought it and they said if the soft works it is ok...

I reinstalled it via the link you provided - keeps crashing
[doublepost=1552304623][/doublepost]Actually after buying it I was provided ISO file... I have found the link - it is still working! will download and re-check. THE key was provided as well

No it isn't just you. All of my Office apps stopped working too. Apparently there is something dodgy at MS. Seems like it might be just 2016(?) affected.

It seems that this has something to do with having enabled "insider" for 2016 which is not available for 2016.

I disabled it after reinstallation. For now, works somehow...

Thanks for your help!
