proteus is a popular alternative. It hate it, but its very popular.

www.versiontracker.com or www.macupdate.com are good sources for finding software.

have a look at jmsn.sourceforge.net too - you might like it. Its pretty fast but not quite so aesthetically pleasing as the cocoa apps
