A hero and role model in the true sense of the words and man, what an amazing boxer. RIP.

Considering his job was to try and stop people punching his head hard enough to knock him out, he didn't do bad living until his seventies.

A 'great man' though? Not in my opinion.

What a lot of people did not know was Ali was good at close-up magic.

Can't argue that. Rope-a-Dope was one of the best tricks in the book, and when he pulled that out, he made most slight-of-hand magicians look juvenile.

[doublepost=1465091623][/doublepost]Is it me, or does queueing up L.L. Cool J's Momma Said Knock You Out seem very apropos to play? I haven't listened to it in years, yet got the song stuck in my head, though I still haven't listened to it.

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it."

“Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

2016 - Bowie. Prince. Ali. I can understand if Chris Rock wants this year to be over soon.

I listened to "Man In The Mirror" last night on the radio and Whitney earlier today. Always makes me sad to discover these legends die. Icons who many of us grew up on.

RIP to The Greatest, one of the most influential African-American and human beings since Martin Luther King Jr. Global, humanitarian gamechangers...

Apple's website tribute to Muhammad Ali (17 January 1942 – 3 June 2016). The image featured in the Apple campaign 'Think Different'. Muhammad Ali also featured in the 60 second advertisement 'Crazy Ones' and a 15 second advertisement part of the 'Think Different' campaign.
