Multi touch gestures

Hi, it's probably been asked/answered a million times so advanced apologies - but does any one know whether the multi touch gestures will work (and to what extent) with a 3rd gen MacBook Air (the mid 2009 one) - the trackpad is kind of in between the new big awesome glass ones, and the old can't do anything other than 2 finger scroll ones.

I think it is limited to two-finger gestures as that should be a hardware limitation.

Any MacBook that came with multitouch gestures when it was released is supported under Lion for multitouch gestures.
