I too would love to know if there's an option for this.

The short duration, and relatively light vibration, really are a bit of an issue. I rarely feel the thing vibrating if I'm walking with it.

There are a couple of tweaks available on Installer that gives more vibrations. I'm using one called asVibra2 that makes the iPhone give 3 vibrate pulses whenever a text message comes in. Much easier to notice than the standard short buzz.

Are you using this for the 2.0 firmware or the older firmware?

For the newer, I'm running 2.0.2.
