Hi,

I installed MultiClutch several Times on my MBA. It just won't work. I added applications like Firefox or iTunes, then I chose gesture and key command. I restarted the application, nothing happend. Also, I tried it with global gestures, same here.

Multitouch is working where it has to (iPhoto, Safari ... ). So what else can I try to fix it? It is a great thing to wirte such a programm, but on my MBA it is not working.

1. It's a beta, so might clash with something else on your system
2. It's an InputManager, which are generally bad news for system stability.

Have you considered doing something as wildly rational as sending a bug report to the developer or contacting him for help? ;) :p

MultiClutch only works in Cocoa applications, which means no iTunes. As for Firefox, only the upcoming FireFox 3 is Cocoa - FF2 is NOT. You can currently download FF3beta4 and MultiClutch works perfectly in it.

Dude: if you bother to read the instructions, the creator did mentioned that the program only works for Cocoa applications, which means applications like Finder and iTunes won't work!!!...

Multiclutch works fine in Firefox 2.

Multiclutch is, however, incredibly buggy. Some installs work perfectly from the beginning, while other times it doesnt make any sense at all.

Suggestions for getting it to work:
Have the target app closed during install/config
Uninstall/reinstall/delete previous prefpane

I had it working fine in FF2, and then I had to go and reinstall osx. Now it doesnt work at all.
