Multilingual crash screen (with hexadecimal output behind it)

So I was in the other room when I was informed that my computer had flipped out (no-one was using it). I come in and it has the multilingual box telling me to restart my computer by holding the power button again. (I believe this is a kernel panic if I remember correctly) However, this time behind it and on top of everything else there is a bunch of output from something. I wish I had written it down now, but what I remember it being is something like a terminal or log output with some legible stuff and also bits of hexidecimal output. Now that is something I have never seen or heard of before. I left the room to get someone to show it to but got distracted and was brought back when the G5 decided to go full blast on its fans (which I have heard of happening with kernel panics).

I checked my crash logs and the only significant thing I can find is:

Just looking to see if anyone out there has an idea of where the extra crashiness may have come from. The only things that I remember were running were BOINC Menubar (doing Einstein@home), X Resource Graph, Temperature Monitor, and maybe Mail and or iChat.

Yes, better for the fans to go all out than not at all during a kernel panic when the system no longer has control.

If you haven't tried, try repairing permissions.

I would suggest that there is a problem with a USB-attached device of some sort. Have you had any strange behaviour in any of them lately?

My Logitech MX 700 wireless mouse was sticking a little when playing UT 2004 (would keep shooting after I released the button) but I figured that was just network lag or the mouse being low on batteries.
