Multilingual fonts

I am working on a project which will be translated into five different languages which will call for Roman, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets. I am aiming to produce all the documents in the same font sets so am looking for fonts that cover all these languages. Does anyone have any suggestions of font families that cover this range? They don't need to be freebies, I have a budget for fonts.

In particular I am looking for a serif body text font that reads nicely and a sans serif display font. Nothing too outlandish, it's a fairly serious report.

ITC Stone family or Sabon for the serif face might be worth checking out. I've used Stone before for corporate reports and it's very readable and versatile with its three sets of informal, sans and serif variations. Sabon has a smallish x-height that I've found difficult to work with at times, sick to death of it because I had to use it continuously for six years.

If this thread doesn't give you much joy, consider signing up and asking at Typophile. Those guys are insanely good.

No worries. Quite like the slab serif on the Caption version of PT Serif in your link. Good luck with your project.

I design artwork in 37 languages and the only fonts that I know hold all the characters are WGL fonts
