hi,

i have imac 21.5" (late 2009).

i'm searching about multimedia authoring software for mac but i can't find anything....

i want to create multimedia projects or quizzes and i'm very disappointing cause a lot of multimedia authoring software for windows but there is no one for mac

I'm not a multimedia guy but some of my friends are and they usually use Adobe Director. It is available for OS X (as well as for Windows). Some people use Flash instead of Director but it depends usually depends on the project. Good luck.

Adobe Director would be your best bet, otherwise (sorry for the cringeworthiness) but Authorware would be another good option.

It really depends what you're trying to achieve, with Director it's all Shockwave so it should port easily to Mac and Windows based systems. Although Flash does multimedia well I'd have to say Director is the tool more based for your requirements if it's going to be a CD/DVD multimedia presentation.

I think Director still has a 30-day trial available on 11.5.
