See prior discussion with a related issue in Ventura 13.3 and 13.4: Multimonitor Screensaver bug in Ventura 13.3
There is a serious bug with screensavers on macOS Sonoma 14.0 (beta 1).
If you have two monitors on your mac, when the screensaver starts, the content of the main screen will show on the second screen, and the content of the second screen will be missing completely.
We are seeing it with today's initial beta release (14 23a5257q).
From initial tests, it almost looks like the screensaverEngine code in 14.0 was forked from the early 13.3 betas, as the behavior is much worse than in 13.4.

- The bug affects third-party screensavers (such as iScreensaver and Aerial )
- it also affects some (but not all) Apple screensavers: for example, Apple's "Hello" screensaver is not affected, but the "Message" screensaver is affected
- the bug may be random, so if you test, be sure to test multiple times. Right now it's failing 100% of the time, but in past versions the failures were sometimes happening between 5% and 90% of the time.
- This has been reported multiple times to Apple (numerous Feedback cases) for 13.x, but probably has not yet been reported in a new Feedback case for 14.0
