so my version of vista is 5 disks the problem is i cant eject on my mac, ive tried using an external on usb but the mac doesnt see it that early... anyideas on how to fix it?

That's why the Bootcamp instructions specify the DVD version--there is no way to eject the CDs during install. You might try consolidating the contents of your CDs on to a single DVD-R.

Depending on how old your machine is, you could use he manual eject button. It's a major pain to get to on the new systems. You have to actually take the computer apart to get to it. I had the same issue when I wanted to install XP Media Center. I ended up not doing it,
