hello...

i just purchased a macbook pro, and my wife already owns a macbook, and i was wondering if people could give us some suggestions for multiplayer lan family games (non-fps, RPG)... i was looking for things we could play locally without having to install some client or use the web... any suggestions or links would be appreciated... i looked for a scrabble game, but it seems the only lan version of the game is a PC version... thanks again..

you have to install a client or use the web for all games, do you mean you just want offline multiplayer board/puzzle games?

incorrect, there are still LAN games out there, many strategy games for instance are good for this such as starcraft and age of empires. Monopoly may also be one, however if you are looking for a broader game base and it may just be easier, download gameranger and check the games list on that client and you will be able to play those with your wife over gameranger fairly easy.
