Multiple Accounts on a single iPad - HELP!

Guys a little help would be appreciated.

I am based in the uk and have a uk itunes account which i use to make purchases. For the ipad i have a us non - payment itunes account.

I wanted to dl through my uk account via itunes on the mac a paid for app and then sync that to the ipad.

However each time i try i get an message saying the remaining apps will be deleted... can any one help or guide as to how i can move apps from one itunes account to the other without deleting apps?

I think this isn't possible. That's exactly the reason I did not open a new US iTunes account for my iPad...

I haven't got my iPad yet, but for my iPhone, I can have apps that I've purchased with my USA itunes account and my Australian iTunes account..

The trick I found is to ensure that iTunes on your machine is AUTHORISED for both of the accounts. That will then mean your iPhone (and I'm assuming iPad) is authorised for both accounts...

Let me know how you go as I'll have the same issue soon too

I'm also in the UK and have an iPad.
I have two iTunes accounts, UK and USA.
I regularly purchase and download from both accounts and have not encountered any problems in doing so - it can be done and easily.

Once downloads are into iTunes, your iPad shouldn't care where they came from as it just synchs to the content of your iTunes folder on your Mac not to a specific store.

So can you provide more info on the exact steps your taking and at what exact stage you are getting the message, is the message from iTunes store when attempting to dl to your Mac or PC? Is it when attempting to synch to your apps to the iPad etc?

Previous posters are correct, it can be done but have to make sure both iTunes accounts are authorized on the same computer. See step by step instructions above.

Yeah. I synced my iPad to my Mac which was already set up with a UK account. Then later I set up a US account with no payment method so I could access free apps. Once set up I switched my Mac back to the UK account. I buy apps via the UK account. I have my iPad set to use the US account and download free apps from the US app store via the iPad (and keep them on a separate page in springboard so I know where they are to replace them with the UK appstore launches). When I sync to my mac, it quite happily uploads new UK apps and downloads any US apps from my iPad with no issues.
