first of all I have multiple Apple IDs and I can’t seem to figure out how can I change my Apple ID ? where in settings exactly? if anyone can please point it out ??

second I understand iPadOS 14 has picture in picture and when I try to do this with YouTube it didn’t work can somebody tell me how does it work in YouTube?

To sign out of your current Apple ID and sign in with another, it's still in the same place it was in iOS 13. Go to Settings > [your name] > scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out.

Thank you! I was also trying to figure out how I did this before since it's become scary relevant where I am now. :(

I think you need YouTube Premium in order for it to work.

Doesn’t work for me, I believe Google’s YouTube app doesn’t support PiP. To do PiP for YouTube use Safari and push a playing video to PiPifier app via the share option.

I tried this and Safari or Google seems to be blocking it. The picture goes to the top right then back down.

YouTube PIP requires their premium service (which is ridiculously priced at $12/mo)

I watch a lot of YouTube in the background but I can't justify that price so I just put the YouTube app in split screen.

Apple had promised us that PIP in the Native APPS would come in iOS 14. So using a third party app like PIP is a very old method.

To be clear - I'm a Youtube Premium subscriber. All I'm saying is the Youtube app itself does not do PiP for me on my iPP 12.9 gen 2 with iOS 14. I can do PiP just fine with PiPifier app from Sarari - whether that's because I have both that app AND YT Premium I am not sure but perhaps that's the key.

As for Apple promising PiP in native apps - my thought is just because API's are available for Google to use with their YouTube app doesn't mean they'll choose to use them.
