Here is my quesiton. I have multiple Apple TV's (6 to be exact). I wanted to know if there is a way to control the content that can be streamed from my iTunes movie library to certain Apple TV devices. The only one I am concerned with is the one in my sons room, he is 5 and I wold like him to only be able to stream the movies that are child friendly.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume it's not a ATV1? I use one in my son's bedroom and only sync the content I want him to have access to.

For an ATV2, you could create a second library with only kid/family friendly content loaded into it. Connect the sons ATV to that library only.

parental control should allow you to do that right on the device

Settings>General>Parental Controls.

Looks like you can restrict stuff based on rating. I'm not sure if that only applies to purchased items or if it works on stuff you have tagged using something like MetaX.

Beware of things on services such as Netflix. I have a nephew who watches stuff on my Netflix account, which I didn't even know he knew how to access. Thankfully he is 6 and just looks for Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles and stuff like that. But I need to figure out how to set some parental controls on that so he doesn't start dropping the F-bomb after watching Clerks or something.
