Multiple IE's in Parallels?

Somebody mentioned to me once that they had found a way to run multiple versions of IE in Parallels for testing their website designs.

I currently run XP and Vista so I can test in IE6 and IE7... but it seems to me that he said he didn't actually have to run an OS to run the browsers.

Anybody heard of this?

If so, how would I go about pulling this off?

You could pull it off with Crossover - which creates "bottles" for each app - and does not need windows to run them.

I got the trial, and it did work, but it seemed redundant having Parallels. But for what you described - it could be ideal.
