Multiple iPhones on one Apple ID in iOS 5

I was able to update my iPhone, iPad and Mac to iOS 5, but still can't get iCloud to work due to heavy traffic. In the meantime, I'm trying to sync my wife's iPhone using my apple ID which I've been using together for some time and now she can't make any appointments on the calendar on her iPhone. Can anyone help?

I think it's just secondary to server overload right now...they were slammed to a halt yesterday evening...it's likely the same story tonight.

I use my apple ID on my wife's phone as well and it was working well this afternoon with pushes.
