Posting this here in case anyone ever searches for this. I did while ago & never found any hits, or got any responses to my question.
If you have an iPad Pro and use the Smart Keyboard connector, you can connect another keyboard via bluetooth and use them simultaneously. This is great for if you are working with numbers and need a 10 Key pad. I bought one from Zagg that is made for use with iPads, but could never use it on my iPad mini unless I disconnected my regular bluetooth keyboard, so it wasn't very useful. I just tried it on my iPad Pro & it works great. I also tried another bluetooth 10 Key pad that did not say it was iPad compatible (Satechi brand) and it also worked fine.
