So I have an 2013 iMac, a 2012 Macbook pro, a 2010 Macbook air.. there anyway to sync the accounts some how so I have 1 password between the 3? I read that Apple removed the iCloud password feature in El Capitan so I don't want to use something that is unsupported now..

Thoughts? anyway to make this happen in Sierra?

I am sorry, but I do not understand what you mean with a unified password. macOS accounts are user accounts. That they have the same username on each system doesn't make them unified. Just set the same password for each machine? Sorry, bit confused as to what you want. I am also not aware with icloud password feature in el capitan that's no longer in sierra. Not sure what you're referring to. I'd love to learn!

In El Capitan, when you go to your user account and click "Change Password" you are given the option to set your OSX User Account password as your iCloud password. This way if you have multiple Mac computers, you can essentially log into all of them with 1 password, your iCloud password. If you change your iCloud password, you can log into all of your Mac's with that new/updated password.

Here's an example of what I'm referring to: http://osxdaily.com/2015/03/24/use-icloud-password-as-mac-login-unlock-os-x/

This was removed in Sierra.. It appears to have been SUPER handy.. I never set this up so all my Mac computers(while all using the same password I manually set) all have un-synced passwords. If I change my password on my iMac, it doesn't change on any of my other Mac's.
