I noticed when I hit option on my iMac today it shows 2 Macintosh HD. I only have one but for some reason it shows 2. When I click either one the computer boots as normal? I wanted to possibly do multiple partitions but I need to figure this out first. How do I remove one of them?

The second hard drive is probably just the recovery partition.

Well it must be because I have a fusion setup. It does not however show the "recovery HD" in the boot menu like normal. Either one of those boots to Mac and not to the recovery unless I hit Ctrl-R.

I'm guessing you would mean "Command-R", not Ctrl-R :D

How does your hard drive show in Disk Utility?

You can also compare that to your System Information, then SATA tab.
