Hey Everyone,

I currently have a Mac Mini with an Apple Keyboard + Magic Trackpad sync'd over bluetooth working without any issues. Recently, I got a MacBook Pro as my new work laptop, and sometimes I end up using it on my desk as well.

Question:
Is there a way I can share and use the same Apple Keyboard + Magic Trackpad with the MacBook Pro Laptop as well? Basically, can I use 2 different Apple computers with the same keyboard and trackpad?

Any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

See the app; AirBuddy. It allows you to transfer Apple Bluetooth accessories between Mac’s (Keyboard, track pad) assuming the Mac’s both have AirBuddy installed. AirBuddy can be installed on multiple devices with (1) license/purchase. This might help with your BT sharing.

thread bump:

does AirBuddy work for this use case please? I'm in the same boat as @A4orce84 as my company are about to enforce stricter standards on USB / personal cloud storage etc, so I'm thinking about buying a MacMini to use on my desk & separate business and personal completely.

My work MacBook is connected by USB-C to monitor, and by bluetooth to Apple keyboard and Magic Trackpad.

I'd like to add a Mini and use the same monitor, keyboard and trackpad for both machines - but don't have another Mac (yet) to test this with. Happy to spend the £15, but would be good to hear from someone that has it working already.
