Hi,
I have all my music on an external harddisk connected to my laptop. When I'm working on my desk, I have access to all my music on the firewire drive.
And I also have all my music on a NAS drive connected to my home LAN.
When I move the laptop to the living room I'd like to open iTunes and make it play my music from the NAS device.
Therefore, I created two different libraries which I can open using the ALT key, but it appears that they always use the same Media Folder Location, whether it's the Firewire drive or whether it's the NAS.
So my question is, how can I make iTunes switch between two Media Folder Locations, depending on which source drive I'd like to use? It really doesn't matter if I can do this with one library or if I have to use two libraries for this.
Another question: is it possible to make iTunes re-scan the library? I've moved some files around and changed a few folder names. How can I force iTunes to re-scan?
Thanks,
Kris
