I got a text message with multiple phone numbers. All are highlighted and can call from within the message, like before, but there is a arrow to the right. WHen selected it gives me a page of links that has the numbers in seperate boxes. From there I can call and save as a contact.

Can you post a screen shot? Sounds like if you receive a mass SMS then it shows you everyone that it was sent to also and not just the sender.

It's nothing new. My brother sent me a text message last week that had his familys emails and cell phones and each was highlighted in a clickable hyperlink. The "blue arrow" to the right takes you to a screen where everything is seperated out with each having it's own "right arrow" that allows you to either add the information to an existing contact or add it to a new contact.

I'm on 3.0 on a 3GS 16GB and it's been that way for me since late July when I first saw this feature in a text message.

Later...

I've received texts in the last week that were sent to multiple recipients but I don't see any blue arrow to the right of them anywhere...

The text I received from my brother was to ME only, not mutiple recipients. In the text message were the email addresses and cell phone numbers of four family members, which I had no previous Contact info set up for them on my iPhone. Their info in the text message showed as hyperlinks and this feature allowed for them to be easily added to my "Contacts". It had nothing to do with multiple recipients.
