Hi All,

Does anyone have any info about eta of being able to use 2 or more of the same sound cards in Logic Audio Plat?

I use 2 Delta1010's and always thought that the delay was from MAudio, but they tell me that they are waiting on Apple.

I have a new large project starting and would like to know if this is on apple's soon list. I would like to do the project in OSX if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I'm right there with you....2 Delta 1010's and waiting, waiting, waiting...

You're only hope is to boot into 9, record, then back into X for all the rest. I quit holding my breath about 2 months ago. I guess it's time to bug M-Audio again about a new driver!

I also haven't heard from anyone if they're using a different sound card if they're capable of more than 8 channels of input. Someone told me they worked fine with Pro Tools, but they disappeared when I asked what kind of gear they were using....

Some 'pro audio' gear this Apple stuff.

Serenity now...

Logic Platinum in OS X does NOT support multiple cards at this time. It's a bummer, but I reckon it will get implemented sooner rather than later. Having been an emagic customer for 4 years, I can honestly say that they put out a LOT of updates, usually for free as point releases. Have faith!

Logic also apparently has an issue in OS X with recording as many simultaneous audio tracks as it can in OS 9.

Both of these issues are Logic-related -- they have nothing to do with your Apple machine.

I expect Emagic will have to save Apple's pro audio market. Personally, I am really excited about CoreMIDI and CoreAudio right up until it crashes or takes down my system. Emagic tech support told me this is not uncommon since 10.24 came out.
