hey guys i was wondering if there was any negative effects having more than one user acct on the computer?

this there is more than one user will eat up memory as far as applications go?
such as iphoto...will it double iphoto for the extra user....or will it just use the same iphoto just store the different data in new users profile?

i plan on having 3 users....

1- mine

2- girlfriends

3 - work

i was just wondering how it would effect my computer and need clarification before i set up the new users!

thanks...

Different user accounts only mean, that you will have three different user folders with all the users content (documents, music, iPhoto library...) and settings (Mail, Safari, other applications, network settings) in it.

The applications will not double, as the reside in one folder all the time.

If you are the administrator and don't want all the other users to have access to all the Applications on the machine, just put the one's you don't want them to use in an Applications folder INSIDE your user folder.

I'm not worried about them using any applications....

i just needed to keep stuff separate...

i just wasnt sure if creating 2 or more users would affect the computer at all...

THANKS FOR THE HELP...
