Multiple users logging into Terminal

I'm running some database and script applications on Mac, they're all command-line batch-processing programs. I want my remote employees to be able to log in and run these programs.

Do I need Mac OS X Server for this, or can multiple people log onto Mac Terminal in just the standard version of the OS?

If you enable remote access, via SSH, then they can login remotely.

Correct. Mac Server would likely be overkill for what you need.
